My grandmother lives in Florida and sent us a big box of grapefruit for Christmas this year. I couldn't remember the last time I had grapefruit, but was pretty sure I didn't like it. As it turns out, I do like it. It can be a little bitter, but overall it is very good. I had heard about broiled grapefruit, and finally decided to give it a try. It was quite good! The brown sugar creates a sweet, slightly crunchy topping for the warmed grapefruit. Give this a try for a nice change from plain ole' grapefruit.
