Here's the Sour Cream Topping for the cake I posted yesterday {Lemon-Blueberry Bundt Cake}. It's optional, but added a nice touch to the cake and was fast and easy to prepare. This can also be used as a cake filling.
Sour Cream Topping

What You Need
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 egg yolk, beaten
1 cup sour cream {I used fat-free.}
1/2 tsp. lemon extract, orange extract, or almond extract
What To Do
1. Mix sugar and cornstarch together and add to egg yolk.
2. Stir in sour cream and cook in double boiler until it coats the spoon.
3. Add flavoring, stir well.
4. Let cool to room temperature before putting on cake.
