Flaugnarde of Mixed Berries {aka Mixed Berry Custard}

Update: I had more of this tonight and I liked it even better than yesterday!
I would be lying if I told you that I know how to pronounce the name of this dish. I absolutely do not. However, I can honestly tell you that this dish tastes delicious! It's quite sweet, and I might even cut down on the sugar the next time I make it. This dessert is warm and custardy but bursting with berry flavor, and would be perfect for any season. Enjoy!

Mixed Berry Custard
from Skinnytaste
Yield: 8 servings

What You Need
2 1/2 cups mixed fresh berries, such as raspberries, blackberries, and blueberries {My berries were frozen, but seemed to work just fine.}
3 eggs
10 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/8 tsp. salt
1 cup 1% milk
2 tsp. vanilla extract
powdered sugar for dusting

What To Do
~ Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
~ Lightly spray and 8x8 baking dish and dust lightly with flour.
~ Add berries to the baking dish.
~ Whisk eggs, sugar, salt, and flour together until smooth.
~ Add milk and vanilla extract.
~ Whisk until smooth.
~ Pour into the baking dish.
~ Bake 45-50 minutes, until lightly browned and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
~ Cool on a wire wrack. {Don't worry if it seems to wiggle a bit in the dish. This is normal!}
~ When cool, dust with powdered sugar and enjoy! Pin It
