Maple Nut Spread

Cream cheese. Peanut butter. Jam. Egg sandwiches. BLTs. The ways to eat a bagel are numerous. The next time you eat a bagel, give this maple nut spread a try. It's smooth and creamy, sweet, and slightly crunchy from the walnuts. It goes great with my homemade bagels {recipe: here}.




Maple Nut Spread

What You Need
8 oz. reduced fat spreadable cream cheese {1 small carton}
3 tbsp. maple syrup {If you have access to the real stuff, use it! It's so much better!}
1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 cup finely chopped walnuts, toasted

What To Do
1. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, maple syrup, and cinnamon until smooth.
2. Stir in walnuts.
3. Chill until serving.
